JPEGmini is a patent-pending photo recompression technology, which significantly reduces the size of photographs without affecting their perceptual quality.
My role was to advance the existing design, leading to a full redesign of the app’s UX and UI and the creation of a new website concept.

After reviewing all screens, interactions, and some user feedback, I developed a document that highlights existing issues and potential enhancements. It covered areas such as interactions, microcopy, timing, layouts, consistency and patterns for improved user perception, trust-building elements, and any missing features.

Supported by the new UI, the design addressed several issues, including displaying photo counts and percentage reduction per session, improving and aligning number structures while standardizing counting parameters, indicating folder drops, adding reasons for skipped photos, reducing feedback requests, and enhancing preference settings.
