The advertising industry, as we know it, is going through a massive transformation. The classical media channels (billboards, magazines and TV) are no longer always the most appropriate for a brand to reach its target audience.
While the traditional advertising used to be a predictable one-way communication, the alternative strategy, named ‘Guerrilla advertising’, is based on engagement, interactivity and participation.
In this talk, I have demonstrated some great examples for guerrilla campaigns from around the world, all made a use of daily-used digital devices (mobile phones, tablets and desktops), in a very unpredictable way to promote commercial and social products and services.
